INZ SUCCESSFUL IN THE CALL OF THE SLOVENIAN RESEARCH AND INNOVATION AGENCY
We are delighted to announce that the Institute of Contemporary History has achieved exceptional success in this year’s call by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS)!
Our researchers have been awarded five projects, demonstrating the excellence, innovation, and breadth of research at the INZ.
The selected projects are:
- Towards a Holistic Approach to Women’s Political Thought in East-Central Europe: Cases from Slovenia and Its Surroundings in the Long Twentieth Century
PI: Dr Isidora Grubački - MAPCASE: Determining the Case System in Slovene and Other Languages
PI: Dr Jakob Lenardič - Invisible but Indispensable: Peasant Women in Socialism
PI: Dr Marta Rendla - The Politics of Trees: Planting Memorial Trees and the Political Tree Landscape in Slovenia, 1879–2021
PI: Dr Ivan Smiljanić - (Re)Shaping Views of the Socialist Past: Memory Politics and Primary Education in Post-Socialist Slovenia (1991–2004)
PI: Tjaša Konovšek
We are also proud to note that several of our colleagues are members of project teams at other institutions, whose proposals were likewise successful — highlighting the strong engagement of INZ researchers in the broader scientific community.
Warm congratulations to all project leaders and collaborators!
We look forward to the important insights and contributions these projects will bring.
