SEMINAR CIRCULATION OF EXTREMIST NARRATIVES THROUGH THE PARLIAMENTS: CURRENT NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN CONTEXTS
At the Institute of Contemporary History (INZ), a two-day event took place at the beginning of this week as part of the ARENAS project. On the first day (Monday, 23 February 2026), we held the public seminar Circulation of Extremist Narratives through the Parliaments: Current National and European Contexts, focusing on the themes of “nation, gender, and science.”
The discussion addressed how such narratives are formed, spread, and normalised within political institutions, and how they can be identified and analysed in research across different national and European contexts.
The second day was dedicated to an internal working meeting of the ARENAS project team, reviewing the project’s past activities and coordinating upcoming steps and planned tasks.
