Call for papers: System of Care and Education for People with Special Needs in the Italian and German Occupation System in Slovenia, 1941–1945
We invite you to submit proposals for the conference System of Care and Education for People with Special Needs in the Italian and German Occupation System in Slovenia, 1941–1945, which will take place on 3 February 2027 at INZ, Glavni trg 18, Celje.
The conference aims to connect research on institutional frameworks, social policy, and practice, including the relationship between ideology, law, and everyday life.
Thematic topics include, among others:
– legal and administrative frameworks of care and education
– institutions and practices
– social policy and ideology
– exclusion and discrimination
– violent policies and their impact in the Slovenian context
– sources, methodologies, and new research perspectives
