BOOK PRESENTATION: NONALIGNED IMAGINATION: YUGOSLAVIA, THE GLOBAL SOUTH, AND LITERARY SOLIDARITIES BEYOND THE COLD WAR BLOCS
On 12 June 2026, the Institute of Contemporary History hosted a presentation of the book Nonaligned Imagination: Yugoslavia, the Global South, and Literary Solidarities Beyond the Cold War Blocs.
Author Nataša Kovačević presented her work, which explores literary and cultural connections between Yugoslavia, the Global South, and broader spaces of non-alignment beyond the Cold War blocs.
The event took place within the framework of the Brokers of NAM project, which examines the making of the Third World through biographical and network approaches to the history of non-alignment.
