Negation and negative concord in Slovenian
Kristina Gregorčič , Gašper Ilc, Jakob Lenardič, 2024
This chapter discusses the syntactic and semantic characteristics of Slovenian indef–inite pronouns which need to be structurally licensed by a propositional operatorsuch as the clausal negator.1From the perspective of morphological marking, there are two major groups of such dependent pronouns. The first group consists of pro–nouns with the negative prefix ni-, while the second group consists of various pro–nouns without an overt negative marker.
