Visiting Fellowship, March 1 – 16, 2025
Motivation
My main motivation for this fellowship is to establish closer contacts and cooperation with the researchers at the INZ. I see this as an opportunity to expand my knowledge of the history of Yugoslavia during the Second World War. This particularly pertains to the chance to exchange ideas with experts on this topic at the INZ and to conduct research of archival documents from this period in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia. Regarding this aspect of the visit, my special area ofinterest are gender relations on the territory of Yugoslavia during the war, especially within the People’s Liberation Movement, as well as the history of suicides among the members of this movement, primarily among its female members.
