AI4DH Workshop – Data Management and Processing
The first lecture in the AI4DH training series took place at the Institute of Contemporary History. These trainings are organized by the European Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Digital Humanities and are open to the public.
Participants, guided by our colleague Dr. Ajda Pretnar Žagar, explored fundamental concepts of data management and processing – from data types and variables to filtering, merging, transforming, and handling missing or duplicate entries. An introduction to preprocessing and data visualization was also presented.
The event, held on December 1, 2025, offered a practical and valuable insight into working with data and highlighted the importance of these skills for research in the humanities and social sciences.
We are sharing some photo highlights from the event.
