INNA GANSCHOW – HISTORY ON THE EDGE
On 14 January 2026, we hosted a new lecture at the Institute of Contemporary History as part of the History on the Edge series.
In her talk, Dr. Inna Ganschow presented “Developing a Secure Digital Workflow for At-Risk Testimonies,” exploring how interviewees can be protected while still enabling controlled access to wartime oral testimonies during ongoing conflicts. She placed particular emphasis on data confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and solutions developed by the U-CORE project team in Luxembourg.
The lecture outlined the design of a secure digital workflow—from data collection and modelling to analysis, storage, and disclosure—and highlighted challenges of implementation within an international and interdisciplinary research group.
The event was held in English, at the ICH premises and via Zoom.
