THE ARENAS EVENT AT INZ FEATURED IN THE CZECH JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY

In February, the Institute of Contemporary History hosted a two-day event as part of the ARENAS – Analysis of and Responses to Extremist Narratives project. The central part of the event was the public seminar Circulation of Extremist Narratives through the Parliaments: Current National and European Contexts, dedicated to the circulation of extremist narratives in parliamentary settings and to questions of nation, gender, and science.

The event has now also been documented in a published report. Ondřej Holub has published an article in the Czech Journal of Contemporary History entitled To Know the “Enemy”: The ARENAS Seminar on Extremist Narratives in Ljubljana, presenting the seminar and the discussions that took place.

We are pleased that the Ljubljana meeting of the ARENAS project has also been documented in an international academic journal and that the discussions we hosted at INZ in February will reach an even wider audience.
