PRESENTATION OF THE DIGITISED COLLECTION OF STENOGRAPHIC MINUTES OF THE FORMER FEDERAL ASSEMBLY OF YUGOSLAVIA
On Wednesday, 20 May 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Institute of Contemporary History will host a presentation of the digitised collection of stenographic minutes of the former Federal Assembly of Yugoslavia (1945–1992) in Slovenia.
The stenographic minutes represent valuable historical material that opens up new possibilities for researching the work of the Yugoslav Federal Assembly, as well as the broader political, social, and institutional history of Yugoslavia. The digitisation of this material makes it more accessible, facilitates its use in research, and enables its integration into a modern digital research environment.
The programme will include opening remarks and three presentations. Vesna Gotovina will present the stenographic minutes of the former Federal Assembly of Yugoslavia in Slovenia, Robert Vurušič will discuss the process of scanning the material, and Dr Jurij Hadalin will highlight the significance of the stenographic minutes of the former Federal Assembly of Yugoslavia not only as historical sources.
The event will take place at the Institute of Contemporary History, Privoz 11, Ljubljana.
You are warmly invited!
