FINAL WORKSHOP OF THE 5XPRO PROJECT AT INZ
On Tuesday, 5 May 2026, the Institute of Contemporary History hosted the final workshop of the 5xPRO project, entitled Between European Requirements and National Practice: Open Science in Projects. The workshop was prepared by Dr Andrej Pančur and Ana Cvek, who presented a useful overview of the differences between European and Slovenian understandings of open science in the areas of scholarly publications, research data, and project applications.
The recording of the lecture is available here:

The final workshop also provided an opportunity to review the activities and knowledge gained within the framework of the 5xPRO project at the Institute of Contemporary History. The project enabled a significant strengthening of professional competencies in numerous areas, ranging from the basics of project management to advanced topics related to MSCA, ERC, Horizon Europe, financial management, digitisation, and international cooperation.
As part of the project activities, Patricija Manfreda gained in-depth knowledge through the coordination of activities, professional training, and networking, while also contributing to a better understanding of the European project environment and to the strengthening of support expertise at INZ.
The 5xPRO project made an important contribution to professional development, networking, and the transfer of knowledge into practice. We would like to thank the partners, colleagues, and trainers for their successful cooperation in the implementation of the project.
