INVITATION TO THE BOOK PRESENTATION: ALBERT KRAMER (1882–1943): A SLOVENIAN LIBERAL LEADER IN ROYAL YUGOSLAVIA

The Institute of Contemporary History kindly invites you to the presentation of the scholarly monograph Albert Kramer (1882–1943): A Slovenian Liberal Leader in Royal Yugoslavia, published by INZ Publishing House in 2026.

The monograph explores the life and political career of Albert Kramer (1882–1943), one of the leading figures of Slovenian liberalism during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. It places his life and political activities within the broader context of political developments in Slovenia, as well as the social and political circumstances of the Yugoslav state during the interwar period.

The book will be presented by its authors, Dr Janez Šumrada, Dr Jurij Perovšek, Dr Andrej Rahten, and Dr Oskar Mulej, who, as the editor of the monograph, will also moderate the discussion.

The presentation will take place on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the meeting room of the Institute of Contemporary History, Privoz 11, Ljubljana.

The event will be held in Slovenian.
