Nuclear energy and social fission: Some preliminary thoughts on a book project
We kindly invite you to a guest lecture by Dr. Patrick Kupper, which will take place on October 17 at the Institute of Contemporary History.
When and where: Friday, October 17, 11.00, Institute of Contemporary History (Privoz 11, Ljubljana)
About the lecture
Why is the civilian use of nuclear energy currently viewed so differently? Why is it widely accepted by the population of some countries, while in others, sometimes neighbouring countries, it is largely rejected? In my talk I will argue that these differences can only be explained historically. In addition, I will present some preliminary thoughts on how to unravel the history behind it.
