The Institute of Contemporary History hosted the international conference The Aggressor: Self-Perception and External Perception of an Actor Between Nations from 1 to 3 October 2025. The event was organized as part of the international research project of the University of Heidelberg and the RuhrUniversity of Bochum.
Researchers from various European academic institutions gathered to discuss the roles and perceptions of aggressors in international relations throughout history.
INZ researchers Dr. Ivan Sablin, Dr. Isidora Grubački, Dr. Jure Gašparič, Dr. Tjaša Konovšek, Dr. Marko Zajc, Nesa Vrečer, and Dr. Maja Lukanc also took part in the conference.
