5Xpro networking – December 2025
On 9 December 2025, the Institute of Contemporary History hosted a meeting titled Networking of Project Offices as part of the 5xPRO project – Consortium of Project Offices for Strengthening Excellence, Interdisciplinarity and International Integration of the Slovenian Research Area.
The event, co-funded by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the European Union – NextGenerationEU, brought together representatives of partner institutions to review progress to date and jointly plan the next steps.
The meeting opened with an overview of the project’s advancement — key achievements, indicators and financial status. This was followed by a presentation of the training Financial Administration & Auditing Preparation for EU Funded Projects.
A joint reflection on shared challenges further highlighted the need for collaboration, knowledge exchange and strong links between experts across different research fields. This is precisely the purpose of 5xPRO: a community working towards a more connected, professional and internationally engaged research environment.
The event concluded in a pleasant, festive atmosphere with a culinary touch – a symbolic reminder of the creativity and diversity that define the consortium’s collaboration.
