Workshop Wartime Data Sensitivity and Pseudonymisation: Digital Challenges and Solutions
On 3 December, the workshop Wartime Data Sensitivity and Pseudonymisation: Digital Challenges and Solutions took place at the University of Luxembourg (C²DH Open Space).
The workshop was led by our colleague Dr Anna Kryvenko and Dr Aliesia Soloviova (European University Institute, Florence).
Participants discussed the challenges of handling sensitive wartime testimonies, pseudonymisation, and ethical data management in digital environments. The presentations offered insights into modern approaches to controlled access, metadata use, and combined qualitative–corpus methods in working with oral histories.
The event underscored the importance of responsible and ethically grounded practices when dealing with sensitive wartime data.
We share a few photo highlights.
