INVITATION TO A LECTURE BY DR MARKO ZAJC IN BEIJING
Our colleague Dr Marko Zajc will give a lecture as part of the Balkan Studies Academic Week Lecture Series, organised by the Institute of Global and Area Studies, Capital Normal University.
The lecture is entitled “Between Communicators and the Withering State: Techno-Optimism in Yugoslav Self-Management”.
It will address techno-optimism in Yugoslav self-management and the relationship between communication technologies, political visions of the future, and the idea of the gradual withering away of the state.
The event will be chaired by Luka Golež, Lecturer at the Institute of Global and Area Studies, Capital Normal University.
